As someone who has had their own multiple concussions and found a path to recovery, my mission is to share the skills and knowledge I have with other concussion sufferers. It’s not just my responsibility to provided the highest level of chiropractic and cranial care and an in depth evaluation of nutritional needs. It is also responsibility to provide the best guidance for lifestyle changes and other therapies with the goal of facilitating the fastest possible recovery with the least cost for the patient.
I look at each patients unique set of symptoms. I will look at how all the different systems of your body may be affecting your brain and visa versa. From there lifestyle and nutritional recommendations are made. Chiropractic adjusting and cranial manipulation, including TMJ treatment are used to solve the musculoskeletal aspects of concussion.
My primary goal is to reduce brain inflammation and bodily inflammation which are the source of many ongoing concussion symptoms. I believe this opens the door to more effective neuro-rehab provided by other practitioners.
Having had my own struggles with concussion, I offer a high level of compassion and understanding. That means I am patient, I listen to carefully to each patient and respond to their concerns. I value what they have to say as diagnostic information and a means of tracking progress. I also understand that sometimes it is healing simply to be understood by another.
